Most collectors like antique bears in mint condition, but some actually like to see evidence that they've been well-loved by a real kid. Typical signs? Bare spots near the center belly seam from the fingers of children falling asleep. Missing or weak ears once used as handles. Mashed and threadbare hands and feet from being grasped and chewed. Dirt marks from backyard bear dens, food stains from tea parties...well, you get the idea.
