Sure,
you can just pop a pre-fab treat into the toaster, but think of
the pride in building your own toaster-food concoction.
Our favorites tend toward the easy cuisine of our old colleague,
Chef Aldo of the Couch Potatoes. For example, here's one of his
we like for long nights in front of the tube.

Representing
most of the major food groups (carbohydrates, sugar, salt, fat,
and caffeine), the Coffee Crystal Sandwich is a great pick me
up.
- Toast
2 slices of Wonder Bread.
- Squeeze
generous dollop of liquid Parkay on one
- Sprinkle
a teaspoon or two of Folgiers Coffee Crystals
- Add
Sugar and Cremora to taste
- Cover
with second slice of bread
- Massage
bread slightly to mix ingredients
Voila!

Youve
heard of French Toast, of course, but this is something different.
Prepare bread and recipe as in first recipe, but replace coffee
crystals with Nestles Quik.
If that doesnt keep you yodeling into the night, we dont
know what will.
Okay,
so these are a little too outré for you? Well, for slightly
more conventional toaster delights, try Dr. Toast's Tasty Toast
