We (your favorite site editors) have a website up about our column and books. Buy the books from there and we actually get a cut. (Hurray!) Here's the URL: http://www.bathroomcompanion.com/

I read your column in the Times Record (Fort Smith, Ark.), where I work as a news photographer.
Several times recently you have incorrectly refered to the U.S. Forest Service mascot as Smokey the Bear.
As one who lived and worked near the site in New Mexico where the cub was found, I can tell you with confidence that his correct name is Smokey Bear. Check with the USFS if you don't believe me.
NOW- can you tell me the derivation of the Bar in bar exam, bar association etc. I assume it is from the same root as barrister but I'm not sure what that is.
Thanks, CSK
